Inception
Takila Design was founded with a simple yet powerful belief, that creativity deserves more ownership, more freedom, and more value. While working in the corporate world, Pawan gained extensive experience collaborating with brands and understanding how the industry functions. But over time, he realized that true creative impact often gets limited within rigid structures. Driven by the desire to build something meaningful, he took a bold step to start his own agency , not just to create value for himself, but to create opportunities for other design professionals to grow, innovate, and be recognized for their craft. What began as a personal vision soon evolved into Takila Design, a studio built on passion, purpose, and the commitment to elevate design as a profession.
2020
First Steps
When the world came to a standstill during the COVID-19 pandemic, uncertainty filled every industry. Yet, in that pause, Pawan and Sana found something rare — time to reflect, reimagine, and rebuild their dreams.
What initially felt like a disruption soon turned into an opportunity. With regular work on hold, they began discussing the idea of creating a design house of their own, a space where creativity could thrive without limitations. Not knowing what the future would hold, they decided to take a leap of faith and start Tequila Designs, simply to explore the possibility of building something meaningful together.
2023
Dream Team
The early days were challenging, and the competitive landscape often tested every idea that Takila Design set out to build. Despite relentless effort, progress was slow and results were hard-earned. What Takila truly needed at that stage was not just time, but the right people, and that’s when the real journey began.
The search for passionate, like-minded individuals led us to onboard a few exceptional talents who believed in the vision and were willing to push boundaries with us. Among them, Rana Bhaumik played a pivotal role, bringing not just skill, but determination and creative energy that helped shape Tequila’s foundation. Together, this growing team transformed challenges into momentum and laid the groundwork for everything Takila stands for today.
